The VOLLI Story
VOLLI is a family-owned operation that grew from a simple desire to spread joy. Allan Jones and his family have been in the family fun business for more than 15 years. The family business started with the invention of robotic ice cream machines and a small ice cream store franchise (Discovery Ice Cream). The robotic kiosks were placed in family entertainment centers such as children’s museums, science centers, and trampoline parks in the USA and globally. This led to the development of nearly 20 Summit Adventure Parks and Catapult Adventure Parks (trampoline and inflatable fun facilities) in North America, Puerto Rico, South America, and Europe.
VOLLI’s inaugural location in Bellingham, WA, launched in late 2021. Dave, Allan’s brother, already operated a Summit Adventure Park in Bellingham— the epicenter of the current nationwide pickleball craze. It was an easy leap to recognize the pent-up demand for indoor pickleball courts and other family games such as tabletop shuffleboard, golf simulators, and cornhole. Post-pandemic, there was a strong demand for social clubs and activities to bring the community together for wholesome fun, food, and drink. The idea for VOLLI and its tagline “Eat, Play, Drink” was a natural evolution of Allan and Dave’s industry experience and foresight into the confluence of national trends.
Yet, VOLLI is much more than an indoor pickleball facility. It offers a facility that promotes a sense of community and belonging to every neighborhood location. By mixing traditional adult games like darts and shuffleboard with the latest technology in sport simulators, VOLLI offers enjoyment for all ages and interests. VOLLI locations also offer outstanding food and beverage options to further enhance the social connections established when people eat and play together.
While VOLLI offers a unique venue for friends to gather, it also provides the community with an exciting and interactive space for corporate team outings, church groups, sports teams, and celebrations of almost any size.
